Hardly! That makes so-called palestinians interlopers! The term "Jew" is derived from the name of the son of Jacob, Judah (Yehuda). The region of Judea was the region assigned to the Tribe of Judah when Joshua led the Israelites into the Promised Land, which was around 1500 B.C. The area was named through force by the Romans to Philistia (meaning land of the philistines) around 150 A.D. as a means to remove their Jewish heritage. I repeat, there has never been a palestinian people group. The name is a fabrication. There were philistines, but they died out and were thought to be a sea-faring people from Macedonia or possibly Greece. The name was appropriated by Arabs living in the area through an effort by arafat during the 1960s/70s to gain international sympathy for their cause.
