Most of the trees still have leaves in this part of TN but vivid colors are mostly not happening this year and we have had little rainfall the last couple of months.

***Those debating us insisted that missile in the picture was merely a helicopter shining it's light downward ( with the heat of a thousand suns?).***

Those arguing that the vertical light beam is the helicopter spot light appearing constant due to time delay camera frame exposures are probably paid to confuse the issue.

It is a given that a medical helicopter was flying at that approximate time and inexplicably flew with its search spot light illuminated. I compiled the sequence of frames at that time and moved them at animated speed.

Leading up to the specific time indicated on the Skunk Bay weather cam, automotive traffic vehicle lights can be discerned transversing the island, mostly left to right if memory serves. The bright light of the helicopter spot suddenly appears at the left of frame - although the helicopter itself was not discernible - and rapidly crosses the island from left to right.

Right after that the light of the missile 'trail' begins to shed light from extreme left of frame horizontally across an amazingly wide area, lighting up the night, followed by the rising projectile with its lengthy fire tail and the brightness of the tail lighting up the night sky briefly.

Such a night time missile launch sequence of light show on the night sky is quite familiar to those living in the area of Cape launches from the NASA launch complex in east Florida.

When I related my observations on line I was attacked by some expected 'expert'. The image of the missile is obviously a missile and NOT a helicopter. Seeing the sequence of frames animated explains the helicopter spot light clearly. I do not know if the appearance of the helicopter was coincidence or a planned diversion.

***Are we ever going to learn more about that attempt on Trump’s plane?***

From whom? Those involved aren't likely to crawl out from under their cover story and the rest of us are just imagining what we want to see. Perhaps if Q should return there might be more information.

Also don't forget that Q also posted a picture of a 'rogue' submarine. I don't think Q directly connected the two events.

Stick with one or the other. I would prefer DST since I can sneak off after work and do a little fishing. With standard time, it is already dark starting in November.

I’m the opposite. I LOVE the fall back and hate the spring forward. I don’t like losing an hour of sleep in March but really like the extra hour in October.

***Democrats weaponized the government in an attempt to take out President Trump, including Crossfire Hurricane. This is the biggest scandal in American history and they used third-world tactics***

They used 5 Eyes and other foreign govts also. When Trump won the WH in 2016, Italy completely reorganized its intelligence organs. (see Joseph Mifsud)

Senate Democrats block Republican plan to end government shutdown for 11th time
Seven senators did not vote in the latest round, including Democratic Pennsylvania Sen. John Fetterman, who has been siding with Republicans to end the shutdown.
The Senate on Monday night failed for the 11th time to advance the Republican-led continuing resolution that would reopen the federal government.

The vote failed in a 50-43 split. Republican Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul voted with most Democrats to reject the resolution, while Democratic Nevada Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto and Independent Maine Sen. Angus King voted with the GOP.
Seven senators did not vote in the latest round, including Democratic Pennsylvania Sen. John Fetterman, who has been siding with Republicans to end the shutdown.
No shutdown votes are scheduled for Tuesday so far, but the Senate will attempt to invoke cloture on two judicial nominees and attempt to confirm at least one judicial nominee.

I meant to post this earlier, when I had time to post the live links. Oh well...

https://www.wildworldofpolitics.com/post/today-s-news-october-18-20-2025

TODAY’S NEWS, October 18-20, 2025
Larry Schweikart

IN POLITICAL NEWS

1) These must be President Trump’s next targets, as dark money NGOs and billionaires fund the so-called “No Kings” marches of elderly white fossils. Kash Patel says the FBI is close to finding the sources of all fascist antifa money. Patel might want to start here, with this ASRA NOMANI funding operation. Oh, and by the way, the left kept circulating videos of a 2017 march for “No Kings” day.

2) As for the so-called “No Kings” marches, as Jeff Childers says, if that means no Stephen King, well, I’m in. Meanwhile, as Childers writes, what will these people tell their grandchildren? “Grandpa once fought fascists by standing in front of Starbucks for two hours!” It’s a losing game for them as Americans support by a 19 point margin labeling fascist antifa a terrorist org. (80% of Republicans support this).

3) The SpewMore shutdown isn’t hurting Trump at all. He has actually gained a point according to CNN vs having lost ground in the 2019 shutdown. Republicans continue to rake in the cash during the SpewMore Shutodwn. Russ Vought says that 10,000 will be permanently let go, but Axios says 300,000, or 14%, will actually depart this year. Be still my beating heart. Moreover, Politico notes that Trump is “micromanaging phenomenally” and has blown up K Street culture. And if you want to see what the shutdown is doing to DemoKKKrats look at the unhinged Hakeem “Movin’ on Up” Jeffries, who called Karoline Leavitt “sick,” “out of control,” “demented” and “ignorant.”

4) We must be ever vigilant: authorities discovered a hunting stand right at the end of the Palm Beach International Airport where President Trump exits Air Force One. Trump has now had the most verified assassination attempts (4) of any President in history. The backlash to the Charlie Kirk shooting was muted because his was a spiritual message, and one of peaceful discussion. But mark my words: if anything happens to President Trump, the reaction will make the response to 9/11 look like a canasta game.

5) Jeff Childers reviews the New York Slimes article on Jeff Epstein pal, Leon Black. As Childers puts it, Black was a “financial keystone in several elite ecosystems” and he characterizes the Slimes “exposé was nothing short of seismic. It is a rhetorical missile strike deep at the heart of one of New York’s deepest aquifers of wealth and influence.” Further, Childers describes Black as a

is a load-bearing column in the cathedral of Manhattan money, underwriting the art world, propping up philanthropy, and serving as connective tissue between Wall Street, Washington, and the Upper East Side.” This is looking like the Slimes knows really bad stuff is coming-—none of it aimed at Trump-—and they are trying to get ahead of it. In recent days they published an expose of Prince Andrew and one of Lazard’s Peter Mandelson. Childers labels this an “ordered narrative of inevitability.”

6) Meanwihle, @endgamemacro says that Trump is strategically positioning national guard and troops at all key infrastructure/transportation hubs.

7) National party registration for September showed that Rs gained 29,400 while DemoKKKrats lost 55,420-—a nearly 85,000 shift away from DemoKKKrats. In Arizona, meanwhile, Rs net gained nearly 6,000 pulling their total statewide lead up to 333,000. Rs just gained another safe House seat with NC’s redistricting.

8) A cracked screen forced Secretary of War, the Punisher Pete Hegseth’s plane to make an emergency landing.

9) President Trump commuted the prison sentence of former NY Congressman George Santos. That’s ok. Count Dooku, Jack Smith, can take his place, as he has been referred for criminal indictment by Congress.

ree

10) John “The Moustache” Bolton has been indicted on 18 counts of mishandling documents, The Economist says the case “looks serious,” and I believe that DOJ is just starting. Kash Patel indicated as much.

11) As suspected, the useless pious poser St. Thomas Massie is being funded by fascist antifa. Shocked, I tell ya. Here is an even deeper look at St. Thomas’s money. He claims not to take AIPAC (Israeli/Jewish) money, but in fact he is getting that and some, including a ton of money from Bill Gates’ son. Rory.

Massie is a poser, a typical “Libertarian” purist who will always vote with libs like Rutabaga, but can’t find it in their hearts to actually vote with President Trump.

12) Remember the drone scare over NJ? An Army contractor took responsibility (credit?) for demonstrating new drone aircraft.

13) A Charlotte, NC teen is still walking free after 111 arrests in two years.

IN ILLEGAL CRIMINAL ALIEN NEWS

14) This illegal criminal alien slime on Tik Tok is offering $10,000 for every ICE agent killed.

IN CULTURAL NEWS

15) Chris Bray repeats Sean Davis’s claims that the Left has gained control of the institutions and isn’t going anywhere. I disagree. They are rotten saguaros, eaten out by the birds, and are a good wind away from being pushed over entirely.

16) Zero’s $1 billion Presidential Library looks like a tower of doom or a Borg hive.

IN ECONOMIC NEWS

17) Trader Joes faces a major copyright infringement suit by Uncrustables.

18) Remember those Trump tariffs they said wouldn’t last? That they weren’t effective? Yeah, good times. Automakers so far have paid $10 billion in tariffs and are shifting production back to the USA.

19) Blue state AGs are suing Trump to restore their solar subsidies.

20) Bill Gates’s fake meat company is almost broke.

21) Resistance to AI is building, but not sure it will have much impact.

22) President Trump signed a rare earth mineral deal with the Australians.

IN INTERNATIONAL NEWS

23) With the U.S. not participating in the vote, the UN postponed voting on its tyrannical and devastating “shipping tax.”

24) Trump just ended all funding and payments to Columbia-—the nation, not the University-—for failing to do anything about the drug trade.

25) The traditional economic press, such as Fortune, accept this report from China that its GDP is growing, at face value. Don’t think so.

26) Hamas is facing opposition from two new gangs in Gaza. Don’t really care which one wins, because unless they want to stop violence against Israel, they’re all the same.

27) Major German and American auto brands are backtracking from EVs and moving back to gas-powered internal combustion engines.

28) This is true, so why won’t more people say it? Trump called Colombia’s president an “illegal drug leader.”

19) Jewel thieves stole a fortune in gems from the Louve. Meanwhile a “small Picasso” disappeared from a Spanish museum.

30) The incredible researcher “datarepublican” shows that UN Women is providing most of the funding for . . . Afghanistan, where the Tolly-ban HATE women and enslave them worse than anything that ever occurred in antebellum slavery.

31) This investor says globalization is doomed. Yep. I said that here: [Book by Larry Schweikart]

32) Irina Slav notes that while there are plenty of university graduates with degrees in energy and its related infrastructure, 80% are coming from idiot climate-change curricula that don’t prepare students in any way for the real world. (Think the scene in “Landman” where Tommy schools the chick lawyer on the ubiquitous reality of oil).

33) A Canuck court ruled that land near Vancouver should be handed over to Indians and whites (or others) living on the land must be given the Cherokee treatment, ie., removed.

IN ENTERTAINMENT NEWS

34) This could be the greatest single line of any baseball player ever, certainly in a National League Championship Series: Remember, this is a pitcher.

5) Paramount/Skydance ready to lay off 2000. Now do Disney.

IN MEDICAL NEWS

36) Pfizer’s birth control shot, used by 25% of US women, is now linked to brain tumors.

AND FINALLY . . .

37) Ever lose a bag on a flight? It may be in Alabama, which has the largest lost baggage depot in the U.S., a 50,000 square foot store for liquidating lost luggage. I’m guessing it’s bigger than Goodwill or Deseret Industries!

Well, “No Kings” came and went. Inflatable animal costumes did a brisk business for one week. The old Boomers got a social space to act out their nostalgic re-visit to the Age of Aquarius. They resisted. . . something. (Mainly authority of any kind, a retarded adolescent fantasy.) And now it’s back to Rachel Maddow for further instructions. The Republic slogs on, albeit with a shut-down government.

Did you forget about Ukraine? Yes, a war is still going on there and it’s a weeping lesion on Western Civ, possibly leading to fatal sepsis. US neocons set the stage in 2014 with the Maidan color revolution as a wedge to wreck and then loot Russia. Then, for eight years, Ukraine harassed the Donbas with US-supplied missiles and artillery. Russia had enough of that in 2022 and ventured in to stop it. For “Joe Biden,” the war was a nice smokescreen to cover his long-running grift operations in Ukraine. The Euro club stupidly came along for the ride.

It was all a tragic and feckless waste. Mr. Trump wants to stop it, but Western Civ as a whole is in such a state of florid strategic disorder that he’s had to pretend the US supports Ukraine. Mr. Zelensky could not possibly carry on this mischief without US weapons and loads of US taxpayer cash. Still, the Russians advance implacably on-the-ground. They are going to “win” this war eventually — meaning, the US and Europe will lose — and everybody knows it.
