My great grandparents came from Ireland. My grandfather was Head Rigger at Ingalls shipyard in Pascagoula, Mississippi that built warships for WW2. Head rigger decides when ship is ready to sail.
He was ALLWAYS drinking beer, but shipyard owner said he did a better job drunk than anyone else could do sober.
Funny thing is, I HATE beer. Is there an Irish drinking song for Chardonnay?
You mean to say your grand-dad was really the Head Rigger In Charge? And all this time I thought that was just a figure of speech!
Although they don't specifically mention Chardonnay, the singers of these tunes have Irish-sounding names, so they're probably Irish.
