My son drove over a patch of ice that turned out to be a four foot deep sinkhole. The insurance company told him they would have replaced the engine but once water got into the vents it was toast.
That happened ten minutes after he lost his job when his employer went bankrupt. They had a 4wd forklift at the now closed shop. He walked back and ‘liberated’ the forklift to tow his truck off the dirt road back to the main road for a cheaper tow.

I wish her insurance would refuse to pay. Surely there is a ‘stupidity’ clause or something in there about interfering with LE, inciting a riot or terrorism that would invalidate the claim.
