Most of us issued a rifle were trained in:
Right shoulder arms, Port arms
How to take apart and clean the rifle
But not how to load or shoot the rifle.
We were assigned a turn at guard duty on the camp perimeter.
We climbed up a ladder to the guard tower with our empty rifle.
I was a personnel clerk. We issued duty to dead and sent a letter home to his kin: Your kin died fighting for his country. Bull. He most likely drowned in 18” of rice paddy water cause he was driving drunk and flipped the open jeep into the rice paddy......or he was skewered by his drunk best friend in the pool hall.
I left Vietnam Christmas Eve 1 week before the Tet offensive.

You must have been in the Air Force, not the Army or Marines.

I was there in the summer of 1977. What a wonderful place. (/s)

I don't remember if it had a conference room that big. Wouldn't be surprised, I thought most of them were smaller, fully integrated OPs rooms.

Russia sometimes sends hundreds of missiles and drones against Ukraine almost daily, and while holding big military exercises in Belarus, suddenly dozens of Russian drones cross into Poland and Romania, followed by Russian warplanes violating Estonian airspace and buzzing a Polish oil platform in the Baltic.
But nevertheless, somehow they're Ukrainian "false flag" operations.
The Ukrainians must be pretty wily to fly MiGs out of Russian airbases. /s

It’s Meyer-Briggs, not Meters. I took it 3 times administered professionally and 3 additional times casually online all spread across the time span from age 18 to 30. Scored as an ISTJ overwhelmingly.
