Greta needs to take a convoy up there to check the thing out personally. I understand they’re great to pet.

I understand they’re [polar bears] great to pet.
A few years ago we took one of the "Walk with the Bears" tours and had wild grizzly (brown) bears come up to within 5 feet of us. They were so full of salmon that they didn't care about us except some of the cubs were curious (and our guide said that they sometimes will snatch up a backpack or camera tripod).
On the other hand, there are no similar trips to photo polar bears. When the tour company has one of those tours they use big-wheel arctic buses with a 'verandah' that keep you above the polar bears reach.
Why? Because (he said) "The polar bears will just eat you."
By all means, let the climate disaster fanatics find out - personally - if that is true.
