You missed the point of my post....Pontius Pilate was Roman. Judea was under Roman occupation, part of the Roman Empire, hence the spaghetti reference.

But spaghetti hadn't been invented yet!

Correct. Pasta wasn’t a thing in Italy until 800AD and really didn’t catch on u til the 1200s.

Off by about 1000 years.
