all the people murdered to date with alllllllllllllll the forgiveness from the holy rollers, and murderes now are given minimum sentences and usually still allowed early parole basically getting away with it, and NO SIGN WHAT SO EVER of any God handling the vengeance ANYWHERE, who’s really not being very smart!??
Sure, theyre going to nail this guy because of the publicity... ...but what about all the other murders??? forgiving to let some entity hand out proper justice that never happens is nothing but a damned cop out...

Don’t confuse forgiveness, with not prosecuting for a crime.
A crime was committed. That crime and the criminals involved needs to be prosecuted according to Law.
God and people may forgive as they see fit to do so, man made laws don’t work that way.
A man was assassinated and the assassin(s) must be made to answer for that action.
She is entitled to feel and say as she pleases. I hope she does whatever it takes to console herself and her children.

The flesh and mind of the killer have been corrupted by evil. He deserves to receive the full weight of the law for his actions including the death penalty for taking an innocent life. This is justice.
However, the offer of forgiveness is the central message of Jesus. If a soul as tortured as the shooter reaches out and accepts, he will be forgiven and welcomed. This is mercy.
The strength and mercy of Erika has called me to pray for that wicked, lost man. This is hard.

That scene where Erica and Trump got together on the stage after his speech was an amazingly tender moment between the two of them. It was an emotional display of a true leader consoling a grief stricken widow where both held each other in close embrace.
Unfortunately, that is how that type of personality reacts.

Charlie was reaching out for the sick at heart and confused and not the well and faithful. Jesus commanded us all to love our enemies and it is hard to put into practice, but that is what sets Christianity apart by following the light of truth and not to hate. Hate it what creates a monster like the shooter. Love is what we are called to do. I understand not wanting to forgive but Jesus calls everyone to repent.
I think she reached a *lot* of people when she did that.
