The members of each rank only knows one leader in their rank who reports higher but they do not know who that is he reports to. President Donald Trump has announced via Truth Social, his intent to designate Antifa as a major terrorist organization, operating within the United States. It will be interesting to watch how the Dept of Homeland Security, FBI, Dept of Justice and U.S. State Department respond to this intended designation.

The immediate impact is an addition grounds for RICO prosecution because terrorism is one of the "predicate acts" that are required for conviction under the RICO. Within the context of Antifa, the other predicate acts, such as fraud and bribery may be more difficult to prove.
