I once worked for a company that I found was ripping off the customers. I voluntarily became unemployed.

I once worked for a small company where both owners were embezzling from each other. I voluntarily became unemployed.

It’s called having standards.

The crew for this idiot knew what he was and yet didn’t have the guts (in a transient industry where moving jobs is very common) to move on. My sympathy meter is at the same point it is for those fired for their Charlie Kirk vitriol. Zero.

Twice in my career I refused to cooperate with a bad actor boss—and it cost me my job.

You have to be able to look at yourself in the mirror without flinching.
