I can’t fathom why THIS machine (Win 11 Pro laptop) doesn’t download (from Microsoft) the files to make the boot drive or disk. The exe that’s supposed to do it downloads just fine, and works on the Win 10 Pro laptop.

THIS machine has been basically flawless in operation for over a year, IIRC, up to this point...

From what some posters are saying, I wonder if it’s possible to go back to a bit older version of Win 10 Pro. The updates are going to end soon anyway...

I wonder if that bootable Win 10 disk would have the latest updates? It looks like I’m better off if it doesn’t, and won’t accept them either.
