Nope. They all died of old age.
I'm 82 now and decided that it may not be fair to the dog by getting a new puppy. (Albeit, I still go to the same park for my morning walks that I have been doing for 21 years now.)

I’m 8 years younger than you. I hike a lot with hill climbs, 3-4 times a week. We were in Ireland, Scotland, Wales and England for three weeks (just got back a week ago) and covered 50 miles there with lots of hill work.
Did “Mineral Ridge” in Coeur d’Alene, ID today - 2.5 miles and 600 feet elevation gain. I was pushing myself going up the hill today. I fast walked / jogged coming down.
So far I feel great on these hikes and my strength, stamina, balance and stability are good, but I wonder how many more years before I have to reduce or curtail these.

That’s why Hubby and I agree that our two cats will be our last ones. We don’t want to leave any behind and alone when we move on.
Consider Rescue an older dog...
