We will not get there if we can’t acknowledge that the violent crime problem is primarily a “black community” problem. Other people can’t fix it for them; they have to change, fix, restore if you will, their culture.

I promise you, you and I are in perfect agreement. I was just clarifying for anyone reading that it's not, and never is, about DNA or ancestry or race. It's about culture. Their culture is what has to change (and like you said, probably little can be done from outside to do that).

But like I said, I haven't given up hope on America, including blacks. I'm seeing more married black families than I used to. I'm every now and then seeing black single men come to the financial small group I lead every now and then, then come back through it again a couple of years later because he's married and wants his wife to know money stuff too ... BEFORE they have kids.

For years I've said that I believe the 4th Great Awakening has started, we just can't see it cuz we're in it.
