I still think the book “Unintended Consequences” is how things will come down. More likely that citizens will go after the stumbling blocks in gov’t, at every level, to make them do the right thing. Finally.
Don’t count fascism down and out. It could reform and comeback. Fascism, all encompassing Nationalism (Tribalism) under a charismatic leader could rise up embracing the ideals of a nation united. Think of Fascism like a “Poison Pill”—a powerful medicine that can cure a sick and dying nation, reverse the downward spiral—but one that has really bad side effects. If you get a mad leader it can wreck your nation—Hitler showed his. But he was only one Fascist leader. Benito Mussolini was better, maybe Franco was best for Spain, and Evita Peron for Argentina. In a dictator ship as long as you don’t act or speak out against the leader, your OK to live your life. But, in fascism you can’t just watch the parade—you must march in it! You must be a part of the system. They can do great things because of their unity—but they can also do great evil.
