Hmm, though... A comet from another star. I don’t think I believe the odds.

Interesting how the article totally omits that I3 Atlas is spewing nickel without any iron present, a never-before-seen condition anywhere in the observable Universe.
The author mentions Cn which is Copernicium - Copernicium is a synthetic chemical element; it has symbol Cn and atomic number 112. Its known isotopes are extremely radioactive, and have only been created in a laboratory.
“Other potential candidates are molecules like cyanide (CN)”
Cyanide is C=N.
Even hough this is from NASA the author does not know elementary chemistry.

Oh, no. “Day of the Triffids”, by John Wyndham, is the tale of autonomous and sentient plants, with the capability to move of their own volition, and the day a green comet crossed the sky, all humanity was stricken blind, except for one person who had been undergoing eye treatment, with his eyes bandaged, and so was unable to see the green comet display. The triffids, themselves without a sense of sight, were then on a common footing with humanity, and a great conflict arose as the triffids were attempting to be the dominant species.

Regardless of how many article you post and from any number of sources, it’s a comet.

For all those without imagination who say “its just a rock, its just a comet”:
A comet that does not change speed or deviate from its course when all normal comets do ... There is no known natural mechanism that accounts for this behavior.
Two new discoveries have been made regarding this strange interstellar object, both in regards to NGA or “non gravitational acceleration”.
