If you don't have a large circle of friends and relatives of employment age, and you don't become unemployed yourself, you might not have any sense about rising unemployment statistics. To you, they're just numbers you read online / in the papers.

But if you buy food, gasoline - in short: daily necessities - you'll have a pretty good handle on inflation.

Under Biden, inflation was rising, and everyone knew it!

Also hidden in the statistics is the fact that a huge percentage of the employment gains that actually did happen under Biden were the result of hiring more government workers. Biden abandoned the private sector for his four years. Did he really need 84,000 new IRS employees he tried to get? Do we really need over 16,000+ EPA employees writing new regulations that guarantee themselves jobs while Congress abdicated its oversight responsibilities? Hint: NO!
