Unless it was a Savage 110 with the removal barrel. I’ve built several Mauser actions and don’t remember any that were changeable. Didn’t Remington and Ruger also offer rifles with interchangeable barrels at one time?

Also, A Savage 110 is not a "takedown" rifle. You're not getting the barrel off that gun without a vise and a barrel nut wrench.
