The Utah gov. is saying the tranny is co-operating with authorities and seems to absolve him. I'm not happy w/ that or the lone gunman spare of the moment theory. That cannot be the case, surely?

I think what it comes down to is this:

The internet was used to spread the idea — within a population of already marginally-stable individuals — that they had the right to use deadly force against those who refused to share their delusions, and against anyone who supported those who refused to share their delusions.

The most severely crazed subpopulation within this population have taken action, believing they have not only the right but the duty to murder those who will not share their delusions.

The psychosocial dynamic here may be related to that which causes different sects within the mohammadan faith to murder each other.
