Reading Romans 1 again clarifies, for it is not only about deviance but about promiscuity and disorder.

Down into the text, past the more obvious and more often quoted:

"They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; they have no understanding, no fidelity, no love, no mercy."

Having no love and no mercy makes easily to path to "envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice," and, as one thinks of the lunacy of so much of unsocial "social media," NO FIDELITY.
