Behavior unbecoming of an office is grounds for discharge. Sounds like a perfect example to me.

Don’t know how they handle this these days...but in 1990s...it would have taken five days to assess and discharge a guy. At Spangdahlem...some event on Saturday with a problem-airman....Monday meeting to agree he goes....papers signed on Thursday, and he was taken to the Frankfurt airport by Friday morning to exit. Barb-wire incident....remember it well.
Nothing will happen beyond a possible letter of reprimand...that can later be removed from his file. The captain possesses the golden race card. He’s immune from negative consequences.
