Don’t know how they handle this these days...but in 1990s...it would have taken five days to assess and discharge a guy. At Spangdahlem...some event on Saturday with a problem-airman....Monday meeting to agree he goes....papers signed on Thursday, and he was taken to the Frankfurt airport by Friday morning to exit. Barb-wire incident....remember it well.

I said from the start that they needed to go through the military with a fine toothed comb - especially the officer corps - and fire tens of thousands of leftists. They still haven’t done that. There was no violation of First Amendment rights. The government did not bar him from speaking it just held him accountable for what he said.
Nothing will happen beyond a possible letter of reprimand...that can later be removed from his file. The captain possesses the golden race card. He’s immune from negative consequences.
