10 years or so ago in a Metro Detroit bus stop shelter, a middle-aged black Muslim male approached other riders and asked them what religion they were and when one woman replied that she was Christian-Judeo, he stabbed her to death. The local news (WXYZ Ch7 “Redaction” News) reported from the scene saying that the woman was attacked “because of her religion”, but it was really because of the murderer’s religion.
