I know. But they wouldnt have to wait 2 years and haveeven worse problems. Not much practical thinking going on over there. I chipped a tooth over there. I went to a private dentist and got it taken care of quickly.

In their minds, patronizing a "regular" dentist (instead of using NHS) would be tantamount to discovering a sizable pothole in the public road in front of your house, and instead of informing the Municipal Public Works Department (and hoping that they attend to it), hiring a private construction firm to repair it.
Because, after all, "health care is a fundamental right!" (spits)
They, essentially, have allowed themselves to slide into the rôle of "petitioner" vis-à-vis their govt., and sacrificed a lot of their freedoms - and, by gawd, they're not going to go back on that!
