The funny thing, one of the most distinctive looking men in the whole country, with his head on hundreds spinning giant buckets in the south and flyover country, could go on "What's My Line" under his real name without blindfolding the panel because they were all provincial New Yorkers. If they didn't give the hint that he sells a product, Dorothy Kilgallen or Arlene Francis would have likely asked him if he was involved "in the legitimate thee'-uh-tuh".
