Where did he say that? The thing is “we” shouldn’t be like the left/woke people and define all people who don’t agree with us as bad or “worse than Hitler.”
I still think of Sting as the Bell Boy in Who’s movie Quadraphenia.
Summers and Copeland are both fantastic musicians and should be compensated fairly. Not sure what they have in contracts, but I sure hope they got what they deserved.
Arranging and writing a song are two different things.
Ace Face
The Bell Boy
I gotta git runnin now, carry the bloddy baggage out
always runnin at sum ones heel
Sting married a woman in the 70's, and had two children with her. They separated after the birth of the their second child, because he was having an affair with her best friend. They got married ten years later, and had four children together, so he has six total.
Summers was married for a year in 1969, then he married a woman in '73, had a daughter, then divorced in 1981. They remarried in 1985, and had twin sons, and are still married.
Copeland was married for most of the 80's. and had two children, and adopted her son from a previous marriage. He also had one extracurricular child, and he's been married to his current wife for decades and has three children with her.
AKA . . . running out of money.
A while back, when Greg Gutfeld was hosting “Red Eye”, Stewart Copeland was an occasional guest.
Copeland seemed to lean Libertarian. He definitely wasn’t a lefty.
I remember his CHARITY! 75% admin....
I’d say you are right most don’t really care. The ones that do tend to be more than a bit crazy with it.
At least Sting had the good sense not to sit next to Springsteen at the U.S. Open.
I live in Ithaca NY where everything and I mean everything is left of center, and a lot of it is off the left end completely.
So to play music in my bands, I'm surrounded by buddies who are democrats, many of them rabid TDS victims. We aren't there to talk about politics, we're there to play rock-n-roll together, and we have a great time and much fun doing so. Hendrix sang: "Ain't no use in gettin' uptight, just let it groove..."
Music is my escape from the hard, nasty parts of life. I refuse to let it get hard and nasty too.
As far as I’m concerned, none of them shoulda have gotten paid for the pretentious garbage they perpetrated on the musical consumers
Utter trash
How was it pretentious?
Your situation sounds just like mine was. Cheers to you and Rock on, Bud.
I thought all of their music was overblown garbage
My opinion
