The 80s were better.
No one ever had an 80s music demolition.
Disco on the other hand……

I never used it. I've always worked "inside" computers or applying them to instrumentation. I have used Excel, but it would never appear on a resume.
👍
You were pretty right on yourself.
In my vehicles, it’s all 80’s, all the time. Each one has my music on a USB drive. Aftermarket radios today all accept USB as a source.
Back to the Future
Daisy Wheel printers
Rubik’s cube
Big shoulder pads
Flourescent clothes
Walkmans
College, then the Army. Best years of my life.

I still wear a fanny pack today. Unfortunately it’s attached permanently to my abdomen.
They got 19 wrong. Mr. T was in Rocky III.
My dad used to say: “The girl chased me around the church and caught me by the organ.”
DisplayWrite III was pretty bad. I remember hacking Word so that we could use extra fonts with a special loader program I wrote.
With an IBM PC I was the odd one out among my friends, who all had Commodore 64’s. Speaking of which, Commodore was just bought by a bunch of fans and is re-releasing the C=64. They’re apparently planning a series of new products.
Glad you mentioned that. It gives me an interesting gift idea for someone who was a big C64 fan:

Never had anything to do with most of that. Broken back at the start of the 80’s sort of slowed things down.
Did get my first PC, with a 40Mb hard drive the size of a small shoebox added in. Along with the dreaded DOS 3.0 that terrifies the apple crowd
Fanny backs for CCW are making a comeback. Never found a comfortable way to carry a Glock 30 otherwise, just too thick and heavy.
The best part of the ‘80s was travel. It was still fun back then. The airport was a happy place. There were metal detectors, but no long TSA lines. Flying was a pleasant experience. We weren’t crammed onto the plane.
And you got real food. Eastern Airlines had a good menu.
You're damn' right it did. I took all my sisters disco albums to Comiskey Park for Disco Demolition.
They blowed up real good.
The trouble I got into for doing it was worth it too.
Remembering all those old airlines... Travel was still fun back then. By the ‘80s, more people could afford to fly, but flying still retained a hint of glamour and excitement. At least, that’s how I remember it.
Oh so true!
Remember "It's morning in America." It was wonderful. That morning lasted for 10 years!
And the music. Yep. It was the 70s. James Taylor, Carly Simon, Carol King, Linda Ronstadt, Elton John and so many other talented performers and groups -- some even left over from the 60s!

Worked pretty well for routine use.
