I have relatives who got the vaxx and the boosters and still got repeatedly sick from the SARS-CoV-2 virus. Herd immunity is better than taking lifetime risks from taking a poorly tested spike protein gene altering mRNA shot.
Before the first Covid vaccine shot was given to a member of Congress, it was known that it would not be 100% effective.
Clinic trials indicated that ~94% effectiveness was to be expected. The complement to that is a ~6% failure rate.
