It was cool actually SEEING those places for real. I guess John Hughs lived around there, and wanted to use those locations in his movies.

He, like John Candy, left us way too soon.

Another fun movie with John Candy, with Dan Ackroyd, was The Great Outdoors. It was supposed to have taken place in Wisconsin, but I don’t know where.
