I don't feel sorry for the kid. We played that game when we were kids but we sure as hell did not play it at 11 pm at night! We knew better.

No I don’t think the kid should get the death penalty for a prank.

However I think the child put him self in a position where he could get himself shot and that is exactly what happened. Messing around with people’s homes late at night leads to no good, well he brought it on himself.
