None of us did this in the middle of the night as teens or kids.
Also think about it, when we were growing up how common were home invasions? How much did we hear about it compared to now more so with the illegals? People now live on edge because of it. Got Ring.com just to record who is coming and going on their property. It was not that way back then.

More details on the case are clearly needed. If he genuinely felt his life was in danger rather than just being annoyed, and had good reason to feel that way, that would add a layer of complexity. But all of us must use firearms responsibly if we expect to have the right to own one.
