Three-term Rep. Ashley Hinson will likely run for the open Senate seat. A former TV anchor and stalwart supporter of President Donald Trump, Hinson, 42, has long made no secret of her desire to run for the Senate in 2028, which is when veteran GOP incumbent Chuck Grassley is expected to retire at age 95.

Thank you very much and God bless you.

She's a hottie(those things count) as long as she keeps her weight in check. Ernst grew tiresome and 2 terms are enough.

Grassly's grandson-no. No nepotism.

Squish? I dunno but we go with the most likely to win.

Think 2002. Fred Thompson retires and former governor Lamar Alexander was our best nominee. Think W needing it so bad we put up with him for 3 terms. The state is redder now and so is the seat.

Tom Tillis-ugh! He was going up against an incumbent Kay Hagen. NC is now redder to the point where Trump could support conservative Budd. Will it roll over in ‘26 now that Tillis read the tea leaves?

Alabama(stupid) Sessions fails. In comes Democrat Jones(deep red state). Tuberville is top notch. Stupid is as stupid does-heard it somewhere.

Last Utah. After 18 years of Bob Bennett Mike lee beats him in the primary. Watching Bennett cry over the result-priceless.

So where do we gamble and where do we play it safe in ‘26?
You tell me.

Maine! Keep Collins for a number and assurance that we keep majority and chairmanships. Do I like her nonsense? No. But we will not do better.

Collins-you’re right. Murkowski. Wait until ‘28 or hope that she runs for governor and wins in’26. Won’t happen because summers are nice in Alaska and awful in DC. That way she can escape back and forth to the better place. As Gov. those Alaska winters gotta be brutal.

” is expected to retire at age 95”

She already lost the weight. They tend to be corn fed in Iowa, but she's done the hard part already. She has an attractive namesake on WBAL in Baltimore, of the plastic beauty variety.

Collins is a follower but mostly a reliable vote.
The Alaska Kow needs to be gone along with her family history.

Ashley is very conservative and easy on the eyes. Went to a rally for her last Fall and she had certainly lost some weight.
A retired buddy of mine has a hobby of responding to Libs who troll her website. They seldom respond to him after he puts them in their place.
