Sometimes the guy doesn’t get the girl. Sometimes the hero doesn’t win. Sometimes the hero is really the villain. Sometimes the criminal gets away and is not held accountable. Sometimes the innocent are framed and have to pay for the crimes committed by others. Sometimes the girl is not rescued, she dies. Sometimes.
