Thanks Paul I have 2 windows 10 machines and think I have uppdates turned off. I will double check.

At some point, I think Microsoft killed the ability to turn updates off — probably in an update!

In any event, my Win 10 Pro computers give me no option in “Settings” to turn updates off - I can only delay them or their downloads.
