Caramel sauce turned out. Cleaning the pot might be another matter!
Shallots are a little darker than I would like, but they are still delicious. Recipe said it takes about 10 minutes, but the shallots weren’t turning well past 10 minutes & all of a sudden, they were dark brown! Next time I will take them out of the oil as soon as they start turning. I was watching them ... they turned quick!
I’ve made caramel-———best bet is to put hot water
in the pan——it should all melt away after a few tries.
