That sounds wonderful - and I’m sure you’re greatly relieved that you won’t have so many to feed!
I forgot the PING this morning - was out of the gate early to get to Mom’s for her birthday lunch. It was delicious and I have leftovers for the rest of the weekend, though service was a bit slow.

I’m getting a surprisingly good zucchini harvest with no pest pressure. I’d heard that planting the zucchini late, like in Aug, was the way to go. I found a couple early maturing crops and they’ve worked out well. Now I’ve got enough to grate up and freeze for zucchini bread for the winter and holidays.
Garden is a mess as with out health issues, I’ve not been able to keep up with it. Next year’s garlic crop will be smaller than usual but I’ve got enough frozen up from the past couple years that I’ll be OK for an off year.

Knowing Blue Heelers and their energy, he’s probably responsible for all those scattered leaves.

Exceedingly JEALOUS! Hot and dry here - 85 today. Dusty, ugly - but there’s a breeze, LOL!
Probably just blowing in some more SMOKE from our Canadian Friends. ;)
Trying to decide if I put on my respirator and mow tomorrow - or if I stay in the A/C and set up my new computer.
Decisions, decisions! :)

I don’t have much color changing right now, either. (SW WI)
But, if I keep channeling FALL - maybe she WILL arrive? ;)

‘Tippy.’
For a few months before I left for the Army, I rented a room from my BFF from High School and her Dad. I was working in that same town and it was less of a commute from my parents place. (1978 - Carter. Gas was scarce if available at all!) He was a Lawyer.
I was in court to pay a parking fine (youth!) and Earl was there to bail his ‘Tippy’ out of the pound. Tippy was a Norwich Terrier who liked to run away every chance she got. I don’t know WHY; Earl treated her like a Queen!
Both Earl and Tippy are now in Heaven. I’m wondering if even God Himself can keep Tippy inside the Gates of Heaven? LOL!
God Loves a Terrier
By Stephanie Scippio
“God loves a terrier, that’s because...
Small, sturdy, bright, and true, they give their love to you.
God didn’t miss a stitch,
Be a dog or be a b*tch,
When he made the Norwich merrier with its cute little derrière.”

Me too. Upstate NY. My Charleston Grey H20 melons are WAY behind this year. I did rescue my neighbor’s plants though. She passed unexpectedly/suddenly last month.
