The democRATs probably want a Welfare Day holiday to celebrate not working.

This article is a terrible stretch.
Labor Day is rooted in May Day, they just didn’t want to call it that. It all goes back to the Haymarket Affair, which also is the root of Loyalty Day.

Labor Day was created for fat lazy government workers to have yet another day off. So they can sit around and do nuffim at home as opposed to sittin around doing nuffim at the “work”.

"...Properly understood, it is the holiday that celebrates not only labor, but the job creators and entrepreneurs central to the flourishing of the United States and its people..." Someone should explain this to the Left, because they sure don't "properly" understand it!

Labor Day is a union thing and unions have overplayed their hand.
Money and power soon corrupt. Unions are a prime example.
