Saying someone is just dumb prevents us from seeing the world through their eyes. Only if you can see the world as they see do we have an opportunity to gain their cooperation.
On the other hand, falsely thinking they are the same as us leads to misunderstanding and wrong conclusions. We have to see Indians for who they are. The average IQ is lower (although there are undoubtedly super smart individuals), and their pagan culture that is resistant to Westernization causes them to behave in a certain way.
