Yes, AI should cite sources and present them with every answer. People seem to think that AI is actually intelligent, but so far, all I’ve seen is its answers parroting what it has read from other unreliable sources.
I want to know facts, not what AI dug up from the lying left-wing mainstream media.
It depends on the Language Model. This is why I like to build my own language models. For instance my health related LM has only sources I believe to be accurate, plus I throw in a few mainstream ones (like Mayo Clinic) for reference.
