I remember an article back then that congress wanted to give a committee the yea or nay over the use of nuclear weapons during Bidens term.  Not controlling the football must have caused quite a ruckus in the ranks.

Looks like you're right. In Dec 2017 they told us theyigged for silent running. They wanted us to know they were still present but silent. 

In their last drop, 4966 Nov 27, 2022 8:06:20 PM EST, they didn't want anyone to know they were still here. Our angst at their silence helped maintain that image. 

I enjoy thinking about the mayhem which ensued when they were denied the nuke football. Keystone cops!
