A couple of things I’ve thought I understood that I did not understand.
1) Foremost, was why other nations began to despise America? I couldn’t understand it.
Now, I do. Learning of our lead into color revolutions, regime change,assassinations, carrots and sticks used, our CIA activity abroad, etc., or else paying others in-country to bend their government to our will.
2) The common and real fear and loathing of Soviet nuclear Russia, crouching under a kindergarten desk for occasional drills.
And, now the American hangover remains against that Soviet Republic, today, even after Putin rejects it, is pained by it,
and continues to bring along the great old Mother Russia for the people’s restored ideal, and at no small cost, and risk to himself. The 60 churches left after the Soviet era, now restored, rebuilt and now over 3000 Russian Orthodox churches established, reportedly, and more coming.
The errors of Communism did spread, but it does not rule in Russia, not under Putin.
3) Israel, surrounded by destroyers was scriptural and such an event signified the coming Last Day.
I couldn’t even imagine why Israel should ever be harmed, always suffered, and hated, sent to the ovens, and as a Protestant at the time seemed an abominable ending against them.
But now the charm and great courage of Netanyahu has been darkened beyond my understanding, even to proportions I hate to define. But, I do see the results, and by the ground that he has laid, see the emerged Cause, for enemies of Israel to encircle.
HAMAS is far more than was the thorn in the side of the Apostle Paul that he begged GOD to remove. Paul was told it was there, “to keep you humble”.
I think that is possibly where Netanyahu is failing.
Among other reasons, one being he is not Christian and does not accept his Christ and Messiah.
