“Shrimps”...It sounds like a way to reference a bunch of little kids or short people.
I suppose if you had several varieties of shrimp to eat (fantail, tiger, Gulf) they would be considered shrimps, sorta like different nationalities of people are called peoples.
But back where I come from (The USA) the plural of shrimp...is shrimp. (just like fish or deer)
What are these bottom feeding sea scum things Ya’ll eat? I just eat cows.
