Another reason the US wanted Libya destroyed was 0bola wanted Libya’s military assets sent to ISIS, which then happened. Gaddafi was also giving the US and I think other countries intel about terrorists. And, with the fall of Libya, it was much easier to flood “migrants” ie barbarians into Europe, as the the sshort distance between Libya and Italy makes a boat crossing easier.

You are right after being our arch enemy for years in the end years of his life Qdaffi had helped the CIA for years giving valued intel on who the terrorists were and where they could be found.He was amazed they would turn on him after all he had done for them. But that's what some of the CIA is: major league criminals. They are all about money and their mission:
