An armed man claiming to be law enforcement has been detained at the site of Charlie Kirk’s memorial in Arizona.
The ‘suspicious’ individual was carrying a gun and a knife when he was apprehended at State Farm Stadium in Glendale on Friday, the New York Times reports.
Officials are also, ‘tracking several threats of unknown credibility’ ahead of the high-profile event on Sunday, ABC News reports.

...researchers in California examined data from nearly four million children in the US and Canada to examine radiation’s effect on cancer risk.
They found about one in 10, adding up to 3,000, cases of blood cancers such as leukemia and lymphoma in children could be attributed to radiation exposure from tests like CT scans.
In fact, getting just one or two head CT scans was linked to nearly twice the risk of developing cancer. But as children got more scans over time, they were over three times more likely to be diagnosed than children who didn’t have the tests.
The researchers suggest about one in 10 blood cancers in children and teens could be prevented entirely by cutting out unnecessary imaging tests and lowering radiation doses.
Using other methods like ultrasound or MRI, they said, could provide a feasible alternative.
