Starbucks have ordered staff to write the name ‘Charlie Kirk’ on coffee cups if customers ordered their drink in the name of the murdered conservative activist.
The coffee giant took action after a widely-shared TikTok video showed a barista at a California store refusing to write Kirk’s name on a cup, claiming it was ‘political’ and citing company policy.
Customers who wish to pay tribute to the late debater by ordering a drink in his name can now do so at any store, Starbucks bosses confirmed on Thursday.
