It is 6.3 miles south of where FL44 reaches the beach on the Intracoastal Waterway side. GREAT oysters. Sometimes dolphins will swim up to the pier.
We go there EVERY time we are anywhere near the area. I've been going there for 25+ years and never had a bad meal or a bad time.

You should come over to the west coast. The east coast is just a buncha Yankees. Plus we have better shrimp. 😂
I try it out next time I am in New Smyrna
If you ever get anywhere near New Smyrna Beach you have to go eat at JB’s Fish Camp. ... GREAT oysters ...

I hope to try JB’s sometime. In 2015, I found an off-the-beaten-path place in New Orleans called Pasquale’s near university district. They had a happy hour special that offered a baker’s dozen oysters if you bought a drink at the bar. The oyster shucker, Thomas, had palms as big as a bread and butter plate and shucked the old fashioned way (no machine). Each oyster was a two bite oyster and they were the biggest I’ve ever seen. I wasn’t able to finish my 13 and didn’t need dinner. I think the place closed down during covid and may have re-opened under the name Pascal’s Manale.
We went there today and feasted on scallop and fish. First ones in the outside dining area next to the lagoon. Its about 10 miles north of where 44 hits the beach. Across the street from JBs is Bethune Beach with plenty of parking with a nice view of the ocean and beach access.
