Truth can be hard to zero in on. I’m still bummed about the report up-thread a ways that Kash said the fatal bullet was lodged in the back bone. Taking that with the claim a 30-06 was involved I’m gonna need a bigger BS flag.
In court today the prosecutor stated that the subject rifle had been given to the tranny as a gift. I still want to know what other guns the family had. And now I also want to know if they were reloaders?
I want those three un-fired rounds dis-assembled, the slugs checked for being “factory” and the powder weighed and checked for being “factory.”
For some decades now it’s been a requirement that explosives have a “tracer” element so the gun powder, original or not, could be traced to its source. That could be a can on Dad’s loading shelf?
It strikes me that the rounds could have been re-loaded to a lower velocity spec, such as M-1 Carbine, and that would have cut the muzzle blast noise considerably. That might explain the few reports of anyone hearing a shot. Using a loading spec closer to 30 Carbine would increase the impact drop, at the reported range, to more like 14 inches which would still be a workable shot.
And note also that Charlie fell backward which doesn’t square with a shot from the rear.
Listening now to the court proceedings first I wanna know why they have a vest on the tranny when he’s nowhere near the court room but in a video con. room at the jail? While they’ve so far tied the guy to one gun they haven’t tied any bullets from the gun to Charlie. To me that’s a bigaxx gap that better get closed.
Proably to protect him from being taken out by a Communist perv that wants to stop him from talking and taking the whole rats nest down with him.
I think it is for suicide watch, nothing on that can be used to hang yourself.
I can’t wait for the coroner’s report. I want to know about an exit wound.
