If by “crossing the Rubicon” you are referring to the Northern Roman Legion sucking it up and heading south to clean up Rome Then it looks to me that it is the Trumpster leading the troops into the DC swamp. And the cleaning is happening.

I don't think Trump has crossed the Rubicon yet.
But he might.
Like Trump, Caesar was a great man who threatened the establishment. He knew the Consul elections were rigged, and that if he gave up his army and returned to Rome as a private citizen he would be in an untenable position vis a vis the corrupt Senate.
Caesar was beloved by the people and the army; and, of course, he was a historic military genius.
The Senate of Rome supplied us with an epic example of FAFO.
See now, that's a worthy comparison.
