My guess would be: Got some real money, and so loaded up on drugs, Len Bias style.
I always laugh when I see people thinking local TV stations pay a lot. They don’t. Especially in Mississippi.
It’s the 99th largest TV market and she was a weekend anchor. Next to weekend reporter…thats the lowest paid anchor at the station.
My wife worked in small market TV/Radio for 25 years. She was very good. It is a job you do for the love of the work…you aren’t getting rich until you get to a top 20 market. And even then, very few make “big” money.
I am sorry, but what you say is factually incorrect. Len Bias was drafted on June 17th, 1985 and he died on June 19th, 1985. Do you think the second you are drafted millions of dollars appear in your account? He didn't even live to sign his contract with the Celtics. He didn't make one penny from being drafted yet. And the investigation established it was his first time. Len Bias didn't get loaded up on cocaine, he snorted it once and had an allergic reaction. It definitely wasn't from affluenza, as you claim.
My guess as well.
