Continued: / We are doing those kind of studies now,” he said. “At NIH, we’re launching studies on the potential contribution of some of the SSRI drugs and some of the other psychiatric drugs that might be contributing to violence.”

“You know, many of them on there have black box warnings that warn of suicidal ideation and homicidal ideation. We can’t exclude those as a culprit, and those are the kind of studies that we’re doing,” he added.

There was no time in the past when people would walk into a church or a classroom and start shooting people. It’s not really happening in other countries, it’s happening here. And we need to look at all of the potential culprits that might be contributing to that,” RFK concluded.

SSRI is short for selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors. They’re used to treat anxiety and depression, both of which are disproportionately experienced by people in the so-called transgender community.

RFK’s surprise announcement prompted outrage from Democrats, starting with Minnesota Sen. Tina Smith, who posted a tweet accusing the HHS secretary of “peddling bullsh*t”:

Tina Smith

@SenTinaSmith ·

I dare you to go to Annunciation School and tell our grieving community, in effect, guns don’t kill kids, antidepressants do.

Just shut up. Stop peddling bullshit. You should be fired.

Like other rabid Democrats, she’s stubbornly convinced that the only thing that would stop school shootings are tougher gun laws.

“There are 400 million guns in this country,” she added in another tweet. “More guns than people. In America, we are ten times more likely to be shot in a school or playground than any other developed nation.”

Insurrection Barbie
@DefiyantlyFree

This is not a gun issue.

This is not a mental health issue.

This is about systemic child abuse and indoctrination.

It starts with social emotional learning and it ends with double mastectomies for 12 year olds,

- pride flags
- pride cloths
- puberty blockers
- genital mutilation
- saying mental health but really meaning gender indoctrination in schools
- social and emotional learning
- drag queen story hour
- kids around over-sexualized adults

This breeds sick children.

And it’s a feature not a bug.

The medicated community and their enablers are an angry bunch lacking scrutiny. Propaganda oriented health care concerns are being threatened for sure.

Med school reinforced my understanding that we don’t don’t know everything. Worse, some things we think we know aren’t so. We need to periodically reexamine what we think we know.

Actions of big government and its allies have made that need all the more clear. RFK Jr is doing the needed re-evaluations. If he is as able—and honest—as I hope, he’ll show us some of what we thought was so was wrong. He’ll also show himself some of what he thought was so was wrong. And some things which neither understood will remain unknown. We’ll really know more. We won’t become omniscient. It’s statistically possible autism will end up amongst the “still not understood” category.

I’m fourth generation small medicine, back to when “progressive” equalled TR. I remember my grandfather warning against Medicare and Medicaid. Back when the AMA was still on his side. When I entered med school we had numerous small drug companies making multiple sources for most medicines, including the then available vaccines. “Medicine” and “Pharma” didn’t always deserve the modifier “Big.”

When I entered med school we had numerous small drug companies making multiple sources for most medicines, including the then available vaccines. “Medicine” and “Pharma” didn’t always deserve the modifier “Big.” They got it via the original “Big,” Government, in multiple doses.

Just as it took multiple doses of bad medicine to warp the Framers’ vision of small government. The most recent big bad dose was Obamacare. Obama’s final negotiation before voting through his mono-partisan monstrosity was a big pow-wow with then-Big Pharma. Just what was exchanged there I don’t know, but I doubt much was good. Much needs to be undone, but there also is much worth keeping. “Science” properly defined and used is a good thing.

Don’t like the left’s tendency to steal and warp language make you want to kill real science along with their fake.

Notice how all those words were written to bury his real message...

“He’ll also show

,..himself...

( RFKJr. the one the pharma vax shills are gunning for )..

some of what he thought.... was so was wrong...”

Yup, just a heavily veiled attack on RFKJr.

guns dont kill anyone, mentally ill deviants hyped up on hormone drugs kill plenty though.

I am guessing liberals would have tried to outlaw rocks as the reason and cause of Cain killing Able

It is just common sense... that if you give someone who is depressed and suicidal a stimulant ... they might then get up enough energy and motivation to take others with them!

We may have 400 million guns in this country, but the simple truth is that we DON’T have 400 million mass shooters or mass shootings.

Logic vs. emotion…..

“Like other rabid Democrats, she’s stubbornly convinced that the only thing that would stop school shootings are tougher gun laws.”

As an FYI, the ‘problem’ that the Democrats have with this shooting is that they lost control of the reporting on it. In other words, they couldn’t bottle-up that it was another trans-shooting.

So, even though the Democrats fully understand that there is some political harm to them in blaming the gun (believe it or not, there are legal gun owners who STILL vote Democrat, several million of them), they are more scared of what their tranny obsession will do them politically, as that could influence tens of millions of Democrat voters who already aren’t so hot on trannies, or anything LGBT, for that matter.

So the idea is DIVERSION through saturation of the media with the (silly) claim that was the gun’s fault.

Also, RFK has a good point - while Western countries have (mostly) disarmed their people, there are lots of countries in Third World with open-air gun markets, and mass shootings of kids is very rare, unless for political reasons (such as the usual Muslims killing non-Muslims, or even ‘different’ Muslims, for that matter). Oh yeah, those countries generally don’t drug their kids, they spank them instead.
