Author, Hollywood producer, and gun control proponent Stephen King reacted to the Minneapolis Catholic school shooting by contending that blame should be focused on guns rather than whether the shooter was transgender.
King attempted to make his point via two posts to X, the first of which appears to have been an attempt to tamper down Elon Musk’s contention that the alleged shooter’s trans status supports the argument that “there is a clear pattern here”:
Minutes after that first post, King followed up with a post in which he was countering Matt Walsh’s criticism of transgederism:
It should be noted that there is no question whether the alleged shooter who killed two children and wounded 17 others was trans. A senior administration official confirmed documents to Breitbart News showing the alleged shooter changed his name from “Robert” to “Robin” at age 17 and thereafter identified as a female.

Stephen wouldve like it better if he burned them all in a fire, like Firestarter? Or ran them over with a car, like Christine? Or just hacked them up? Killers are going to kill. Gun is just a means to an end. Steven is an expert in ways to die …. Just showcasing his intellectual dishonesty.
His short stories and novellas are decent. But he hasn't written anything worth reading since The Stand. Noted exception being The Green Mile.
He seemed to always start out with promise in many of his novels, but then he seems to lose interest and blames aliens.
Insane and totally wigged out by chemicals and hormones.
Because science.
Thank you. I had no knowledge of that.
Too bad this wasn’t in a concealed carry state such as Texas where an someone who was armed could have taken out this child killer quickly - instead, according to those who heard the shooting in “gun free Minnesota”, the tranny was able to reload. Witnesses said they were shocked at how long the sooting went on.
“Minnesota does not allow constitutional carry.”
The likes of idiots like Walz and Frey will blame guns, of course. But this is what you voted for Minnesota.
Indeed it’s also part of the problem that keeps the cycle going of such things.
Facing facts is the weakest link in the news racket.
Stephen King and reality deniers like him are the problem and are getting people killed.
Yes, pretty much all the “original” school shooters loved King’s book “Rage”, and most subsequent shooters were inspired by the previous shooters.
King is the original seed of all of this.
Look, a no-talent hack who has lived well altogether too long without holding an actual job, spews out yet another DNC talking point.
Sounds like Stephen King cannot put 2 and 2 together. He might be on the cusp of mental illness himself...no guarantee that we all remain cogent (he is 77) till we die.
Damn guns breaking loose again and killing folks ... just like autos ... just like knives ... just like axes ... etc etc etc ... ban them all ... along with politicians.
Why is it so visible that a large number of mass crimes are committed by people confused about their sexuality?
As a family of gun owners, there will not ever be a Stephen King book, movie, or product ever purchased by this family. Even the family trust has language that allows any future beneficiary to be disavowed entirely of any relationship whatsoever with the trust if it is proved the beneficiary associated, directly or indirectly, with anything related to Stephen King.
King deteriorated after his brain injury from the auto accident.
Mr. King believes and writes stories of inanimate object like cars killing people. Why would you not expect someone like that not to blame the mental health issue, and blame an inanimate object?
Otherwise, Mr. King would have to admit he was wrong.....and that could set up a mental break from the reality he has been living in.
If he did not have any guns, the poor thing would have had to resort to explosives.
This, from the guy who wrote and co-produced a movie which skillfully transitioned a male actor into a female character to capture the full grotesqueness and evil of “her”. Nice try, King.
